Car electrical repair in Tooele: lights, windows and locks

Power windows that won’t go up, locks that quit, lights that flicker. Electrical work is where Ricardo shines, and most of it happens right where your car is parked.

We fix

  • Headlights, taillights, brake lights and turn signal bulbs
  • Power windows that are slow, stuck or fell into the door
  • Door locks and key fob problems
  • Blown fuses that keep blowing
  • Dash lights, gauges or accessories that work some days and not others
  • Wiring damaged by rodents or past repairs

Find the cause, not just the part

A dead power window can be the motor, the regulator, the switch, a broken wire in the door hinge, or a fuse. Replacing the motor when the wire is broken fixes nothing. We test the circuit first.

For problems that come and go, see diagnostics. Tracing intermittent electrical faults is the work Ricardo enjoys most.

Lights matter in Utah

A burned-out headlight or brake light is a common reason to get pulled over, and short winter days mean more driving in the dark. Bulbs are quick, and we check the rest of the lights while we are there.

Done in your driveway?

Nearly all electrical work, from bulbs to window regulators to wiring repairs, is done on-site.

Electrical repair (lights, windows, locks): questions

My window fell down into the door. Can you fix it today?

Usually the window regulator or its cable broke. That is normally a driveway repair once we have the right regulator for your vehicle.

Why does my fuse keep blowing?

Something on that circuit is shorting. Putting in a bigger fuse is dangerous. We trace the short to the wire or part causing it.
